Data Access and FastLink – New Features/Enhancements
US Open Banking
Open Banking (OB) in the US is where the consumer’s financial data aggregation is moved from credential-based screen scraping to OAuth-based API connectivity. Users can connect to sites through OB or OAuth-based API connectivity instead of credential-based screen scraping.
Yodlee FastLink application manages all aspects of Open Banking connections, including redirection of the user to authorize and consent to data sharing, migration of account data as required, and support of both Open Banking-enabled sites and legacy credential-based sites in the same user experience.
For more information, refer to FastLink US Open Banking Product Guide.
FastLink 4.0 Enhancements
Add Manual Account Flow
Using the FastLink 4.0 application, consumers can now manually add accounts that the Yodlee aggregation engine does not support. If a financial institution does not appear in site selection screen and is not found in a free-form text search, consumers can then add the account as a manual (i.e., non-aggregated) account. Using the add manual account flow, consumers can manually enter information about their assets or liabilities that are not necessarily accounts at a financial institution.
Add Real Estate Account Flow
Consumers can now add their home or property values to their profile using the add real estate account flow available in the FastLink 4.0 application. Consumers will be able to enter their property address and choose whether to add the value manually or have Yodlee calculate it automatically. Once the consumer enters or agrees to the value, the home’s value will be added to the consumer’s profile.
Region and Language Support
The FastLink 4.0 application will now support the following languages: US English, AU English, French Canadian, and Canadian English. The application has also been localized to the following regions including Latin America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. The region and language preferences set will affect the application strings language, region for popular sites, and the currency and date format.
